With team tri-captain Deirdre Lewin leading the way by winning the overall race, the Lady Firebirds won the league cross country Varsity team title. The JV team swept the first five places led by sophomore Emma Dougherty. Lewin earlier had been awarded the NSCHSGAA Thomas O’Brien Scholar Athlete Award.
