On Tuesday, April 16th, the Boys Varsity Volleyball team continued their winning streak with a dominating 3-0 victory over St. Francis Prep, scoring 25-9, 25-8, and 25-19 in each respective set. This win improved the team’s record to 6 wins and 1 loss on the season.
The team was led by Senior Christopher Puglisi’s 24 assists, Junior Ryan Exarhos’ 9 kills, Sophomore Michael Tagios’ 8 kills, Junior Ethan Murray’s 7 kills, Sophomore Ryan Bargellini’s 7 aces, and Junior Charles Galanga’s 7 digs.
Christopher shared, “We had a great game! What stood out to me was our hitting and serve receive. We were very consistent in all aspects of the game, and our offenses were fast paced. I’m proud of our performance, and I’m excited for the rest of the season.”
When asked about how they achieved this victory, Ryan Exarhos said, “we did it as a team with the bench being loud and present.”
The boys look forward to taking on St. Francis Prep on Friday, April 26th. First serve will be at 4:15 P.M. in the gym.
