The Boys Varsity Bowling team won another game on Thursday, January 19th to improve to 7 wins and 3 losses for the season.
Their 7-2 victory over St. Dominic’s High School was a total team effort in which every member of the team contributed to the win.
High games were bowled by: Caleb Cassano (93), Brandon Garcia (96), Michael Iannicelli (107), Anthony Garcia (111), Quinlan Peters (134), Connor Volpicello (135), Thomas McGovern (196), Brian Hanna (200), Richard Deem (217), and Memphis Ling (227). Memphis also had the high series of the match with a 655.
Freshman Anthony Garcia stated, “I played in the third round and we won by a few pins. Overall, the team is very good at bowling and we’ve had a great season. I think that the playoff will be great and I’m looking forward to it!”
The team will be taking on St. Mary’s High School as their last match before playoffs at Garden City Lanes this Thursday at 4:00.
