This summer, Mock Trial Team Member Ava Boneville (’21) attended an intensive law program at Stanford University. The program was attended by almost 200 high school students and involved courses on the law and an exciting mock trial competition. As part of the program, Ava competed as lead attorney for a defense team at the San Fransico Federal Court. She and the rest of her team, composed of other students from around the country, took first place.
About the experience, Ava said, “this was one of the most incredible experiences I ever had.” She also said that she could not wait to come back to her team at Kellenberg Memorial and apply what she learned in upcoming competitions.
